From minimum wage to my own book
I worked in retail for 10 years, then moved into marketing. When I got pregnant, my employer required 5 office days a week, and childcare was simply too expensive.
So I started working from home. I combined my love for Spanish culture (my husband is Spanish) with food, and created Abuela's Kookboek for Hola Kiki. Today our first retailers sell it for the holidays.

Amazon publishing is free to set up. A Shopify shop has a monthly subscription; I'll explain the options in the course.
